The lack of propelling force for the competition at previous races has made the Race Comittee
suffer (only one race could be finished in four days of competition) so we should take advantage of
this weekend´s weather conditions.

This one race was held under the conditions of an offshore regatta, and it could happen again if the
weather and wind reports from the main gurus on the Internet are right, such as windguru.cz, that
forecast winds of more than twenty knots coming from the West.
In the General of the Bravo group, the ranking looks like this: Ignacio Castañer´s ONO, Pablo de
Villar´s G-Baylin and Dany Cuevas´ HST-Korn Windows meet predictions winning. Anybody can
win unexpectedly.

Others get ready and lie in wait for the right moment to step up to the podium, like One with
Ricardo Zabell at the helm, and the new Delgado y Rios (ex-Terral IV) owned by Alfredo Santos, with Pablo Canivell at the helm.

Delgado y Rios, who faces damages and whose crew is a little reduced, will fight to remain in the
very first positions, even though at this race they have an advantage: they do good with this kind of
wind.

Young crews like the one from Vértigo-Península Petroleum, Alicia Cabello and Cristina Bouda´s
boat (they recently got a brilliant third position at the Women Match Race Clinic in Valencia) or the
crew of Alfonso Bonilla´s Beneteau-Navra, will try to rank among the bests.
Besides, Iraburu´s Trotón with the motivated sailor Dani Galindo, Elastoaplik with ex-olimpic
Argentinian Guillermo Silva and the English Andy Bones, on board of the Triay&Triay, are right
now adjusting to the Bravo group, as last I Grand Prix they were competing in the Alpha.

In the Alpha class, Mauro Cruzconde´s Trocadero maintains its leadership position, with one more
point than Da Bruno, that has the second position.

Apart from the ONO (Puerto Banús) and the Beneteau Navra (C.N.M. Benalmádena), they all run
around Club Marítimo of Marbella, that hosts the race.
